Jamie Barnes, PA, LCPC, is a Florida native but has called Great Falls home since 2003. He works as a mental health counselor and physician assistant at Open Door Wellness Center in Great Falls, Montana.
Jamie has been working in health care for most of his life. He became a physician assistant in 1998 and has worked in medicine ever since. Throughout the years, Jamie has evaluated and treated multiple medical and psychological issues.
Jamie believes God has formed each one of us with mind, body, and spirit. Many times, when one part is unhealthy, the other parts become unhealthy. To understand how each works synergistically, he completed a clinical mental health counseling program through Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Jamie is now a mental health counselor and a physician assistant and looks forward to partnering with you on your journey of self-discovery.
Jamie loves to fish, whether in the Gulf of Mexico or the Mighty Mo; there are few things better in life. One of those better things is his wonderful wife, who he married in 1984. The couple has two children and four grandchildren, a few more of life’s better things.
